Growling Audi RS3 Sportback

A new RS model has been unleashed. The new RS3 Sportback represents all what Audi does best. Compact power, extraordinary driving experience and superior cool-factor. Fitted with a smooth running 5 cylinder 2.5 liter developing 340 hp and 450 Nm this Audi will do (limited) 250 km/h, and due to a weight of only 1,575 kg You will get from 0-100 km/h (60 mph) in just 4.3 seconds.
Naturally Audi put in their 7-speed DSG (double clutch) gearbox to handle the horsepower.
These numbers and the looks of the car make it very cool in deed. But the coolest gadget fitted into this RS is the sound valve found in the exhaust system. When the "S" button is pressed the sound valves provide You with pure joy, and pedestrians with fear, from the well known Audi-growling from inside the power plant. I find this the definition of cool.

iPod speaker - now by B&O...

I don't know about you guys, but this is just the gadget for me. Being danish, a gadget lover and last being addicted to music I simply love this one. The danish brand Bang & Olufsen is already well know all over the world for their beautiful designs and incredible quality, I don't think this gadget will affect their image in a bad way. It is estimated to 7000 danish kr wich is just about 1500 us dollars.

Caviar Case from Louis Vuitton

Now have a look at this custom fitted Taiga Carrying Case. It is the ultimate accessory for a true caviar enthusiast. It is designed as a handy cube with neat dimensions that include four vodka glasses, plates, a dish with a silver lid, a serving spoon and four caviar spoons with mother of pearl inlay.
Now how cool is that?

New, and in deed pretty, BMW 6-series

This is the all new BMW 6-series. BMW presented this car on the Los Angeles International Auto Show this year, and announced that the production ready Coupe will be for sale in 2011, where also prices will be announced. Mounted underneath the bonnet is a 4.4 liter V8 engine developing 400hp. They claim that their new engine has a smoother run than previous engines, which gives a better flow when speeding up. Not only the engine is new. BMW has put a new 8 speed Sport Automatic gearbox with the standard possibility for the driver to drive with either automatic gear changes or manual gears controlled by paddles behind the steering wheel.
Most important of all is the design. For the first time the 6-series is worth looking at. The growth on the rear has been removed and in general the curves have been smoothened. Together with the 5-series and 7-series, the 6-series is now representing the new BMW design ideas.
The reason I've chosen this specific picture is to show You the rear. Isn't it pretty? Although the new 6-series is bigger than the old one, it in every way looks more agile and sporty.

Wally wins design award

The Nautical Design Awards prize is a new recognition for the yachting design, recently established and organized by ADI (Associazione per il Disegno Industriale, the fifty year old association that awards the Compasso d’oro, the most prestigious design prize of the World).
The ADI committee give prices in 10 different categories and the winners of each category are automatically included in the annual selection of the ADI Design INDEX, that is the first step to the Compasso d’oro competition.
The Wally 130 wins the "sailing yacht over 24 meters" category. Quite rational if one considers the elegant and clean design of this genuine Italian styled yacht.
